- Watering is permitted on Mondays and Fridays.
Time Restrictions
- Watering is only allowed from 6:00 PM to 10:00 AM to minimize evaporation and ensure efficient water usage.
Prohibited Activities
To further conserve water, the following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Watering lawns and landscapes between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
- Washing driveways, sidewalks, and other hard surfaces.
- Using water for ornamental fountains or ponds unless it recirculates water.
- Washing vehicles at home unless using a hose with an automatic shut-off nozzle.
Exceptions
Certain activities and special uses may be exempt from these restrictions:
- Hand watering with a hose equipped with a shut-off nozzle or a drip irrigation system is allowed any time of day.
- Newly planted lawns and landscapes may be watered daily for the first 30 days after planting.
- Use of reclaimed or recycled water for irrigation is permitted.
Penalties
Non-compliance with these water restrictions can result in penalties:
- First violation: Written warning.
- Second violation: $50 fine.
- Subsequent violations: Fines increase incrementally by $50 for each additional violation.
