Overview of 2024 Water Restrictions
Starting June 1, 2024, the following water restrictions will be in effect for all residents and businesses in Tomball:
Outdoor Watering Schedule
- Odd-Numbered Addresses:
- Watering allowed on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- No watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Even-Numbered Addresses:
- Watering allowed on Thursdays and Sundays.
- No watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Prohibited Activities
- Car Washing:
- Only permitted using a hose with a shutoff nozzle or at commercial car washes.
- Ornamental Fountains:
- Must be turned off unless they recirculate water.
- New Landscaping:
- Requires a special permit for watering.
Exceptions
- Drip Irrigation Systems:
- Can be used any day but must adhere to the no-watering time restrictions.
- Hand Watering:
- Allowed any day using a handheld hose, bucket, or watering can but must follow the no-watering time restrictions.
How to Save Water Indoors
